Day One

• Depart from Cairo southwards along the Cairo Asyut road. Proceed westwards towards Abu Maharik dunes – one of the longest dune fields in the Western desert.
• Cross the Abu Maharik dunes and proceed West. Snack lunch en route. Overnight camp to be selected depending on the day’s progress and dune field crossing.

Day Two

• Proceed West/South West on moderate to slow track towards Jara caves. Jara caves are underground caves famed for their breath-taking stalactites and stalagmites.
• Snack lunch en route. Overnight camp at sand flats in the vicinity of Jara caves.

Day Three

• Depart from overnight camp passing through Wadi ElBatteekh (Valley of the Water Melons) to link with the Old English Trail.
• Proceed South along the Old English Trail to the overnight camp at Heaven’s Gate.

Day Four

• Proceed off-road from Heaven’s gate towards the Eastern White Desert passing by the Magic Spring, for sightseeing and picnic lunch.
• Proceed to Farafra oasis to visit the Local Heritage Museum and Gallery. A quick dip in the hot spring could be arranged according to schedule.
• Return to White Desert for overnight camp.

Day Five

• Depart from overnight camp North towards Bahariya along the Bahariya-Farafra road.
• Brief stop at Crystal Mountain for sightseeing.
• Proceed to Bahariya for refueling and lunch in one of the local cafeterias.
• Depart to Cairo. Expected arrival around sundown.
