One-Day Itinerary

• Depart from Cairo along the Cairo-Fayoum road towards Wadi AlRayyan lakes and waterfalls (140 Kms – approx. 1½ hours). Brief stop to enjoy the scenery in the vicinity of the lakes and waterfalls.
• Proceed into the desert towards the Whales Valley through 33Kms on an off-road track (Approx. 45 minutes). Arrive at the Valley and explore the fossilised skeletal remains of pre-historic whales and mangroves. Snack lunch and rest.
• Proceed off-road towards Wadi AlRayyan waterfalls to rejoin the Rayyan-Cairo road.
• Proceed towards Cairo. Expected arrival around sundown.
